Day.1. Arrival Sumba

Arrive on the island of Sumba at the city of Waingapu. Direct transfer to your hotel Kambaniru  for check in and lunch at local restaurant, afternoon visit Prailiu and Kallu Village to see ikat process, return to hotel dinner and overnight,

Day.02. Waingapu Pau-Rende and Kali Uda ( BLD )

We travel from Waingapu along the coast to the town of Pau, well known for the Lau Pahikung ikats and onto Rende village with its unique ikat weaving. Overnight  at Kalala beach Resort.

Day.03.  Kaliuda Full Day Ikat Learning ( BLD )

We spend the day learning about the ikat designs of Kaliuda with their unique horse and bird designs unlike any other textiles on Sumba. 

Day.04. Kaliuda – Kanatang-Waingapu ( BLD )

We leave Kaliuda village today and travel to the indigo dyeing village of Kanatang  at Mau Dolung Village where we learn about their unique natural dyes process. Return to hotel Padadita  for dinner and overnight.

Day.05. Waingapu – Denpasar ( B )

We depart Sumba today flying back to Denpasar.  Your tour concludes on arrival into Denpasar.
